Custom Questions
This is one of the features that we've been planning and working on since starting HappyTeams, and has been requested by many of our customers. We're so happy to share it with you.Custom Questions are questions provided by you, and will be sent to your users in the same way we normally ask questions. You can now ask any employee engagement question that is important to your organisation. As always, answers to these questions will be anonymous, but will contribute to your overall engagement scores and response rates. You can begin to add your Custom Question by clicking the button below.

User Upload Optimisations
We received several feedback reports that the mechanism for uploading users inside the Tag view was complex, and didn't always work the way you expected. We have now removed this from the Tag view, and it is only accessible from the Users view.

Tag Leader Permissions
We have now made it possible for Tag Leaders to manage the users who are a part of their Tags. This empowers Leaders to have more control, and also means that Administrators will have less overhead.

Nudges
This is one of the features that we've been planning and working on since starting HappyTeams, and we're so happy to share it with you.Nudges are quick tips, suggestions and articles from our library of employee engagement resources, curated by our team of Organisational Psychologists, that we send to you based on your organisations and tags scores.

Each nudge is generated directly from your organisations average scores across our bank of questions and aims to help you address the issues that arise in your lowest scoring focus area.

Nudges are currently sent to organisation administrators and tag leaders every week on Wednesday, and will soon be extended to provide resources for your team members to help themselves address the issues that their answers tell us they are having. There are several types of nudges that we send: links to helpful articles, insightful videos, an inspiring quote, or just a helpful tip. We hope you find them useful and helpful.

Calendar
This is one of the features that has been requested most by our customers. You can now tell us about a number of different types of events that are happening in your organisation, and we will use these to determine whether or not we should send questions to you and your team members, as well as highlighting these events in our dashboards so you can track engagement levels across events that are important to your organisation.

Organisation Events
These are events that are important to your organisation. For example, you may have a new project launching in a certain week, which can bring its own stressors. Simply tell us about it and we'll show it to you alongside your engagement scores in that period.

Personal Events
These are events that are important to you. For example, you may be starting to lead a new team, and want to highlight how engagement evolves in your first few weeks. Simply tell us about it and we'll show it to you alongside your engagement scores in that period.

Disable Notifications (Organisation)
These are periods when we shouldn't ask questions for your organisation. For example, your organisation may take an organisation wide holiday. Simply tell us when to stop sending questions and start sending them again, and we'll respect that, along with showing you this period in your statistics.

Disable Notifications (Personal)
These are periods when we shouldn't ask questions of you. For example, you may take a holiday for a week. Simply tell us when to stop sending questions and start sending them again, and we'll respect that, along with showing you this period in your statistics.

You can add events to your calendar by clicking the button below.

Reports
As mentioned in our last update, we now send you monthly emails to report on your organisations engagement levels across the month, and compared to the previous month:

At the start of each month, administrators in your organisation will receive a report summarising the preceding months happiness data across all of the different categories of engagement we measure. These summaries are presented as comparisons with the previous month so that you can see how your organisation is performing month to month.

In addition to this, we have introduced a new Reports area. This presents a monthly overview of how your organisations engagement levels performed across the month, with helpful at-a-glance summaries for each engagement focus area, as well as in-depth information around each focus area and the engagement levels for each question we ask in each focus area. A link to this is included in each monthly report email.

Feedback
We love to get your feedback, so we wanted to give you another way to tell us anything you think we should know!

Once a month, when you answer a question in Slack or Microsoft Teams, our reply will include a prompt for feedback. Please tell us about any issues you're having, any suggestions you may have, or even just tell us a joke! We're looking forward to hearing from you.

Onboarding
This is an area that we've received a lot of feedback around from our customers: the onboarding experience. HappyTeams is designed to be as simple and intuitive to use as possible, but our onboarding experience didn't always follow this. We've completely reworked the onboarding experience for new (and existing) customers to be much more informative and friendly.

Organisational Averages
This is another area that we've received a lot of feedback about. In April, we introduced Global Comparisons to our dashboards:

On your overall statistic summaries, you will now see an additional line. This represents the global average for all organisations on the HappyTeams platform and will allow you to see how your organisation and tags compare.

Our customers love this comparison, but did let us know that while this comparison is very useful, when they are looking at the engagement levels of a tag, it would be good to see the Organisational Average as well, so that the tags engagement can be compared to that of the overall organisation.

On your overall statistic summaries, when you have selected at least one tag, you will now see another line. This represents the average engagement score for your organisation on the HappyTeams platform and will allow you to see how your  selected tags compare.

Login Links
Another great feature, suggested by some of our customers, who found it frustrating that when they logged into the dashboard after following a link to a specific area, would just be brought to the statistics area and not to the area they had originally intended to go. Frustrating, we know!

This is now fixed, and we promise to send you to the right place once you've logged in.

E-mail Registrations
This is also something we've received numerous requests to add: the ability to sign up for HappyTeams just using an e-mail address, without the need for connecting to a service like Slack, Google or Microsoft Teams. More information is below on how you can add users to these accounts, as well as all other accounts, when the users you want to add aren't part of the connected service.

Bulk Upload of Users
Like Email Registrations, we've received numerous requests to add the ability to bulk upload users to your HappyTeams organisation using a CSV file. You can do this in the Users area of your dashboard, and for each user you upload, we'll send them their question via e-mail going forward.

Localisations
We've done a lot of work on localisation across the platform. All questions and emails are now sent in the users selected language. We've added support for this to the dashboard, but are still working on the translations for the dashboard. We'll be launching them in the coming months.

Monthly Reports
This is one of the features that has been most requested by our customers. At the start of each month, administrators in your organisation will receive a report summarising the preceding months happiness data across all of the different categories of engagement we measure. These summaries are presented as comparisons with the previous month so that you can see how your organisation is performing month to month.

Unfortunately, there was an issue with how these reports were sent this month, and they presented inaccurate data. Thanks to everyone who reached out to let us know of the issue. We have identified and fixed the cause of this, and the reports you receive on the 1st of July will be full of interesting data and insights into your organisation.

Logging In
As you know, HappyTeams offers integrations with several services such as Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google. We setup login initially to allow you to login with each of these services, but as nowadays everyone typically has multiple accounts across these services, this often resulted in a lot of people logging in with the incorrect account, and not being able to view their dashboard as we don't have data associated with the incorrect account.

We have completely reworked our login process. The login buttons for the various services have been replaced with a place where you input the email address you use to access HappyTeams, and we'll email you a "Magic Link" that will log you in automatically when you click it. Simple!

Re-enabled Category Drilldowns
In our April release, we removed the ability to drill down in the different categories of engagement we measure, and as a part of that, the ability to view engagement profiles for the specific questions we ask.

We did this in order to allow you to focus solely on the problem areas at a high level, rather than focusing on the low level. We were wrong about this, and we are very grateful to those who let us know how useful the low level data is, and we have re-enabled all of this functionality as a result. Thank you!

Login Errors
There were a few issues with how we handled logins/visits to the Dashboard when your access had expired, resulting in some of our users seeing a white screen with no content. Thanks for reporting this, we have addressed this issue and you should not encounter this anymore.

Tag Leaders
Another oft requested feature. This allows you to mark people who are members of a tag as the leader of that tag. In the coming months we'll be taking advantage of this and using this to send your leaders nudges and suggested resources based on the trends we see in the tags they lead.

Prioritized Question Category
Again, something that is requested a lot by our customers. As you know, we group the questions we ask your team members by category. This will allow you to prioritize one category over all others, meaning that while you have it prioritized, every second question we ask your team members will come from that category.

Multi Account Support
We've noticed that some of our users are connected to HappyTeams through multiple organisations. When you login with an account that has an email address associated with another account, you'll now find a button which will allow you to change to your other accounts if necessary.

Onboarding
This is something small to help our users discover all of the functionality that HappyTeams has to offer. Based on the level of access you have, if you haven't gone through the onboarding flow before, we'll quickly run you through the platform so you are empowered to get the most out of it.
